Elena Schneider joined McManis Faulkner in 1999, bringing with her many years of civil litigation experience.  Schneider is a California Certified Legal Secretary (CCLS).  This certification, offered through Legal Secretaries, Inc., is achieved by passing a comprehensive examination on such topics as California legal procedures, legal terminology, reasoning and ethics, and communications.  As such, she joined a select group of qualified secretaries in the California legal profession whose skills have been tested and proved.  As a legal assistant, Schneider supports partner William Faulkner and a number of associates.  She is also a member of MF's safety team, and is responsible for evacuation and emergency procedures during practice drills and emergency situations.

Schneider attended West Valley College and is a current member of the Santa Clara County Legal Secretaries Association.  She is also a Notary Public and member of the National Notary Association.  Along with participating actively in the legal community, Schneider also participates in the firm's Adopt-A-Family Program and the Silicaon Valley Walk for AIDS.
