Matthew Schechter is senior counsel at McManis Faulkner. Schechter is an experienced trial lawyer who uses the experience gained from his time as a prosecutor to effectively advocate for his clients both in and out of the courtroom and at all stages of litigation. Schechter has a varied civil litigation practice with a particular emphasis in employment law.

Schechter also brings extensive appellate experience with the Appeals Bureau in the Queens County District Attorney's Office to the firm's appellate law practice. He handles appeals and writs involving a broad range of issues at both the state and federal level.
