REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
Reedy successfully represented former Mayor Albert Ruffo and other plaintiffs in preventing the City of San Jose and its Redevelopment Agency from using redevelopment money to fund the building of a new City Hall in downtown San Jose.
He also successfully represented two mothers after they were sued for defamation in connection with their protests at Family Court. They had lost custody of their children and then picketed outside the court. The clients won when the case was dismissed as a SLAPP suit, a decision upheld by the Court of Appeal.
On several occasions, Reedy successfully represented attorneys in different cases who were sued for malicious prosecution. The clients prevailed on motions before trial.
