Nearly 35 years ago, when Jim McManis left the District Attorney’s office to start his own law office, his practice was almost exclusively criminal defense. In the years since then, McManis Faulkner has represented clients at every stage of criminal proceedings, in all areas of criminal defense—including business fraud, murder, murder-for-hire, perjury, animal abuse, and child molestation.

MF has extensive experience in defending federal and state white collar criminal cases, representing individuals and small businesses, as well as public companies and their officers, shareholders, and employees. The firm defends individuals charged with crimes in both state and federal courts, both at trial and on appeal. We also provide counsel to individuals who are under investigation but who have not been charged.
