Marwa Elzankaly, a partner at McManis Faulkner, was praised by commentators for her oral argument before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in Ibrahim v. Department of Homeland Security, et al. The Ibrahim case involved the unlawful arrest of a Stanford post-doctoral Muslim student by the San Francisco Police when she checked in for a United Airlines flight to return to her home in Indonesia.
